Christ the King Church is a community of Christians meeting at the Petersen Barn Community Center - 870 Berntzen Road, Eugene, Oregon. Worship services begin each Sunday at 10:30 AM.
We are committed to:
- Glorifying God by enjoying Him in all things
- Testifying that Jesus Christ is Lord to a world that denies that truth
- The Bible as the inspired and true word of God
- Living lives committed to God and accountable to one another
Some of our distinctives:
- Family integrated worship: no Sunday School, choir, etc.
- Communion every Sunday
- Hymns and Psalms used in music, we use a keyboard to keep us singing together
- The best Youth Group in the world... the family, with the parents as leaders!
- A meal together on the 3rd Sunday of each month
- Fellowship meeting on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evening
If you visit:
- We are a small but growing group of families. We started five years ago with three families and now have triple that number. We desire to double that number soon so we can financially support a pastor. Currently one of the Elders teaches on Sunday morning.
- We strive to start at 10:30 but sometimes we don't get going until 10:45 especially on the 3rd Sunday when everyone is bringing food.
- We are used to and enjoy the little sounds that children and especially babies may create during the service.
